Larry and George met at a University that has since been demolished - like they do with houses when something really bad has happened there. They were studying Film & Drama and found they laughed at the same things, so embarked on a 'making each other laugh competition', which quickly turned into a fight, and then slowly into a career...
After graduating they began work on a darkly comic sketch show which became the well-received Channel 4 'Comedy Lab' Private Lives ("A thoroughly neat concept... harrowing but undeniably amusing" - The BBC Guide to Comedy).
Since then the pair have established themselves as versatile comedy writers, having 'penned funny' for Armstrong & Miller, Stephen Fry, Harry Hill, Charlotte Church & Jon Culshaw as well as developing both sitcoms and comedy-dramas. As performers they have appeared in a wide range of comedy shows, including sketch shows and hidden camera formats, alongside the likes of Harry Hill, Ross Lee, Stephen K Amos and Dick & Dom.
They are perhaps best known for their work on the BAFTA and British Comedy Award winning Horrible Histories, for which Larry continues to write and perform. While Larry messed around in fake beards, George has gone on to star in fellow CBBC hits School of Silence and Relic.
Currently the pair are working together on several sitcom projects and sketch shows. In addition George is writing a new series with Vic Reeves, while Larry is hurriedly penning series 4 of Horrible Histories which starts shooting in September.
Larry and George are represented by Holly Nicholson at Noel Gay Artists.
